When the Cleveland Daily Banner announced that a grocery store around 53, 785 sq feet was coming to the new Mouse Creek Shopping Center I decided to email Publix to see if it was them. I sent them a message last night and they got back to me today. This is what they said:
I am contacting you regarding your recent inquiry about Publix stores coming to Cleveland, TN. I would like to thank you for taking time to make contact with our offices. It is with great pleasure that I inform you that we are bringing a Publix to Cleveland, TN in the Mouse Creek Shopping Center. Unfortunately, at this time I am unable to confirm when construction will begin/be completed for this project. However, the best estimation for the completion of this store is late winter 2014.
I feel that it might open earlier than that if they are part of the new expansion on the Mouse Creek Shopping Center. However, it is great news that Publix is finally coming to Cleveland, TN.

UPDATE: Lake Winnie released a press release with this ride set to be open for Memorial Day Weekend. I wonder how much this ride cost Lake Winnie? I looked it up and found a used version of this ride going for $245,000.
UPDATE 2: Lake Winnie posted on their official Facebook page that the ride is officially open.
