The following website( Windows Marketplace) will no longer be available as of July 15th 2011. However, you can still get your apps through your phones. Please note this article is only for those using Windows 6.x. My Phone service will also stop saving your content as of August 7th, 2011. Microsoft will be moving all your content to Windows Live Skydrive at that point. So what do you Windows 6.x. owners feel about this? Are you ready to make the jump into Windows Phone 7?

Skype, one of the best VOIP platforms for the internet has been acquired by the technology giant Microsoft. The company reportedly purchased the Skype for 8.5 billion dollars. Microsoft will integrate its new property into Windows Phone 7 and Xbox 360 devices. They also stated that it will not stop support for Skype on non-Microsoft products (i.e. Skype for Mac, Linux.. etc..) Is this going to be a good thing for Skype? Let us know in the comments below!
