This is the first time I’ve ever seen  4G on a prepaid phone. I saw it today on a website called Simple Mobile. They also have very cheap mobile plans that will help out the budget conscious consumer. They have plans like $25 unlimited nationwide 15 day talk and text, $40 unlimited nationwide text, talk, and web in 3G, and $60 unlimited nationwide talk text and high speed web with 4g speeds.

This is cheaper than Straight Talk, Verizon, AT&T and Virgin Mobile just to name a few. I went and read on and learn a bit more about who is over simple mobile. I wondered if it was AT&T or T-Mobile. From what I have read it seems as if it is running on T-Mobile. However, it is still impressive for it to be running a 4G network on a prepaid device.  Another cool thing about this is the fact that you can use any unlocked GSM mobile phone. They have an approved list of devices that you can use on their network on the website. They have a very extensive list and I think that you’ll be pleased with the devices they offer.

The closest I found to my location is Knoxville that offers 4G service. However, that may not be a problem in your area. If you’re planning to get off contract I believe that this service could be something you might be interested in. At least give their website a try. One interesting thing to note, is that they offer a micro Sim for the iPhone 4, even though it is not on the approved list. Yeah that’s right, you can get an iPhone 4 on prepaid.
